Challenge
Account keys were in pipeline files, storage was open to the internet, and nobody could name the lake path behind the board report.
Solution
We moved secrets to Key Vault, added private endpoints and private DNS, and registered the main sources in Microsoft Purview.
Results
- Public data endpoints removed
- Secrets taken out of pipeline files
- Lineage from the lake path to the board report
